Sorry folks..i didn't update my blog for a long time already..Im fine and doing great in school but will be really really busy because of the hectic schedule in school..Many activities are coming up this month and I will have to lead my team to do this do that..By the way, haha..Im officially the Chong Hwa Football Society president!!!woots!

Yeah..i been arranged in a class 6S2 this year in school..last year was really a great and unforgettable year for me..5S2 i love you so much!!! the class trip was really enjoyable and i won't forget all those memories..

After this year, I will be going to Singapore to serve NS..yeah..its for two years..and then I have no plans yet in the future..

Whoo-hoo! 1 subject to go and I'm free from SPM!!!

I want to thank God for guiding me throughout this exam adn giving strength when I am studying late in the night and giving wisdom when answering the exam questions.

SPM has been so far so good for me and many fun happened during that period. Like when Sejarah that day, textbooks flying around in the school when that subject is over..Unbelievable when you see that scene in my school.

When the sad case is many of my friends are leaving for college after SPM, leaving me and others in this school for the last year of secondary school life..I wonder whats ahead of me..

I got about 1 week of break till Chinese and I don't know what to do..haiz..play?Study?

man..time is near for me to take my SPM..looks scary but nevertheless I will do my best. Have been studying Chemistry for the last two days, managed to study the 500 plus pages book in just two days isn't easy task..haha..

I am going tackle Sejarah today and tomorrow..hopefully will study finish by Wednesday..

Temporary freedom for the time being at last after two weeks of suffering of eating and stuffing books into my head. I have a week or so break before seating for my final-semester exams. The trial exams ah..quite the hard lo..coz first time seating for SPM ma..so like that lo..

Sharon came back and Esther also came back for the holidays but she is flying back tonight..so take care Esther and see around in a month!

Congratulations to Tze Liang and Yoke Li finally become parents. I haven't seen baby boy Zech yet but he will be a great blessing to both Tze Liang and Yoke Li from God.

43 days countdown to SPM which I still have about 1032 hours/61920 minutes to prepare for this big exam.

I wonder when I can officially start driving...

I know I have not been blogging regularly...

Happy 50th Merdeka Day to all Malaysians!!!

Though many things and so on happened this year but we must be grateful and thankful to God for being merciful to Malaysia throughout this 50 years. This nation, consists of many different races, culture and religion, it is by God's grace that we may live in prosper and harmony in this country. So be thankful to the Lord for that!

Been busy throughout this week, got another meeting and seminar tomorrow and with the SPM trials coming soon really quickly, I really don't have much time left. I do ponder what I did in the first half of the year and I didn't accomplished many of my goals which I set for this year. Hopefully with God's help, I will achieve my goals..

Deeply sorry to all guys and gals for not updating my blog for quite a long time. Sports Day is officially over and I feel sad, discouraged for my performance but quite happy because I enjoyed every minute there!

The sports day venue was held in Stadium Bola Sepak Cheras, Kuala Lumpur which was quite the far from Bandar Sri Damansara. I managed to wake up on both mornings at 5am to meet up with my classmates at the Kepong Station. The first day was Friday so as usual the train was cramped with lots of people..haha..mostly Chong Hwa students..We stopped at KL Sentral for breakfast at MCD and we left again for Bandar Tasik Selatan..lol..we forgot all about the time while we were eating away..The supposed assemble time at the stadium is 730am but we left KL Sentral at about 740am..haha..quite late..we are making lots of noises inside the train and the passengers seem to stare us..

About a 15min ride, we reached Bandar Tasik Selatan..now next,lagi worse, we have to take a freaking slow Rapid KL bus to the stadium..We waited for the bus towards HUKM for about 20mins?!The bus drivers just won't turn the board that shows HUKM instead the board shows Desa Tasik which is another way..We then like argh..haha..me the clever one..suggested if the next bus doesn't show HUKM, we will chair the bus driver out of the bus and drive ourselves to the stadium but thank God la..the next bus came and the bus board says its going to HUKM..finally..all of us just forced our way to get into the bus and we are off to the stadium!

When we reached at the stadium, it was like 830am..1 hour late! Well, we went into the stadium and found our class in the stands and settled down..Well, its another 2 hour wait for me to compete in my event..At 1030am, the announcement was made and I went to the assemble place to register myself..then I waited, waited and waited for about 1 hour again?!wth is this???Never mind..Finally I got onto the track at last and it was 1130 that time the weather was freaking super hot man!!!Finally..its my turn to run! *Bang!*and we are off..I ran to the first corner of the track and I can hear my classmates cheering me in the stands as I am the only lone runner in the 800m event. I intend to run faster and faster..fyi..I was standing behind at the start but managed to catch up with the others later in the race. haiz..my energy was used up in the first lap and second lap I was totally worn out and I just ran slowly like jogging..too bad..but the good thing was the last 100m I managed to cut past 5 people and ended up in the 10th place out of 36 runners.Thank God!

This will be my first and maybe last Sports Day in Chong Hwa. Man, why do they have to choose the venue so far away from my house..gosh..Cheras Football Stadium.

I will be taking part in the 800m event..I don't expect winning any medals but maybe surprises will happen?haha..

I gotta sleep..coz tomorrow have to wake up at 5am to catch the 620 train from Kepong. tata!

Church Camp 2007(Part III)

Continued...

The last day of the camp!three days just passed like that..amazing and remarkable I say!Okayz, since I last night slept so soundly that I woke up late at 8am and forgot to do my devotion as well..eiks..that was the time for breakfast too..So quicky washed up and took bath and quickly rushed down. By the way, Lordson pressed the door bell and we together went down for breakfast. Wow, as far we can see, a bunch of Chinese tourists were already there eating breakfast. Well, I guess there was nothing left much for us to eat. They(Chinese tourists)just took and took more food to their plates and left nothing for us. I just took some nasi lemak and some sambal to eat..poor thing me..I heard them saying to each other " Na duo yi dian" , "Na Wan Quan Bu" which means take all the food. I was like what the he**! Haha, Sam David came down late but he like tidak kisah and ate.

After breakfast, we had our normal Sunday worship which was led by Yoke Li, pianist Tze Liang and Guitarist Joshua. After that, it was a message by Uncle Bernard which was the camp speaker as well. After the message, we prayed for Uncle Bernard and his wife Aunty Hazel because they are leaving for the next camp or seminar which begins the next day. We prayed for Aunty Poh Gaik as well because she will be leaving immediately after the Church camp to attend a some-like Women Conference in Penang as the camp speaker. The meeting ends with group photo session.

Later, me and joshua went back to our rooms to pack our things and then checked out to have lunch at the cafe. After lunch we begin our journey back home sweet home. Indeed, it was a refreshing and a fruitful camp. We had been blessed by the presence and the words of God which Uncle Bernard and Aunty Hazel spoke to us. Our minds are totally refreshed and we are on FIRE FOR GOD again! Totally been blessed in this camp and hopefully the next year's camp will be even better!

Church Camp Part II

Okays, now for the second day of the church camp.

Woke up at 7.30am to do my devotion while Joshua was still sleeping until 7.45am. After washing up, we went down to have our breakfast. Not bad I say for the food they provide for breakfast that morning. After that, we went to the meeting room to continue our Theme Talk 2. Lordson and family came on that morning and Andrew Chua and family checked in on that afternoon. Maybe the meeting room was so cooling that I almost closed my eyes again and again..haha..After the theme talk II ended, we had a 30-mins break of fellowship and then we continued with the Theme Talk III later on.

Oh, the camp speaker comes from England and his wife is an Irish. They are back based in Reading in England now after spending years back in Australia. After the theme talk, we went down again for lunch. One funny thing is that the cafeteria uses big plates for breakfast and dinner but they use small plates for lunch..lol..and by the way, the food they provided for lunch was simply good. After an hour break, we had sessions with the couple. The men had a session of sharing and giving opinions with Uncle Bernard while the ladies had a session with Aunty Hazel. I tell you seriously, the atmosphere was totally so quiet at the starting for men until Lordson's dad starts us off with a question and Uncle Bernard gave such "long" answers. I can see that many are struggling in that room..haha..but it was a fruitful one.

After the two-hour session, we discussed where to go and lepak during the three hour break and we decided to go to Giant which is nearby our hotel. So some of us sat in Uncle Yoke San's car and Joshua's car and we head there. I think that Giant was still new as they were quite many people when we reached there. Jam in Nilai?Impossible. Jam in Giant?Quite Possible. We found a place to park and then walked to the hypermarket. We shopped,shopped and shopped mostly for junk food, cup noodles, sandals, combs..etc. After that, we headed to Uncle John's Kopitiam I think for a drink. Uncle Yoke San treated us, so nice of him. Yeah, by the way, Uncle Yoke San just came for the day and then drove back in the evening.

Back in the hotel, we rested for an hour and then took bath and then went down for dinner. And then we had our last theme talk for the camp. Priscilla led the worship. Uncle Bernard talked and talked about we are living in the presence of sin but not in the power of sin as Jesus Christ shed His blood for us, sinners. During the prayer, he prayed for us, young men, and all of us as well. After the session, we headed back to the hotel. At night, me, Lordson, Joshua, Priscilla, Andrew Chua and Sam David had a picnic at the lift lobby on our floor we were staying. We brought ice cream, junk food, cup noodles and Tea Boh..lol.The singles ladies also had their party as well in the room I think. It was a good, nice fellowship until the security guards halau us back to our rooms as we cannot eat there at the lift lobby. Never mind about that, we came out again and we played with the lift pressing each floor button and then in the end we ended up in Fifth floor which was quite a nice place. We chatted and chatted, played games until I think 1 am??Sam David teached us some of his Mynamar games and talked with us about the upcoming 1st Aniversary of their MCF. Cool huh? They are going to have cultural dances, their Mynamar food as well..Just can't wait till that day. Haha..one funny thing that we greeted everyone coming out from the lift saying "Selamat Datang Ke Malaysia" and "Visit Malaysia 2007". Hmm..we should do that often and in fact all Malaysians should do as well..Haha..

Well, chit-chatted until 1am then we headed back to our rooms and then slept till the next day. Joshua went out again to chat with Lordson I think. And then, lights off..

Church Camp 2007(1st Part)

First of all, It was a great disaster as I forgot to bring my camera to camp so everyone..no photos to see=p

I will start blogging from the first day first.

Well, It was raining super heavily on that afternoon so Joshua and I went to 1U to lepak first and then started our journey to Nilai at about 5.15pm like that. Of course, jam cannot be avoided when its raining in Malaysia. We chatted during the journey and at one time Joshua was driving about 10km/h?!!cause trailing a lorry ma..Then we started counted how many lorries that we passed. Total score i think=12-0 gua. Reached the hotel at about 6.30pm. At the registration table, Aunty Felicia told me Lordson will only be joining us on the next day so Joshua shared room with me then. Many of our church members didn't join us for this year camp because I personally think that the camp fees might be a little too expensive.

Well, settled down in our room and then went downstairs for dinner. Quite ok I say for the buffet-style dinner la. We joined up with Tze Liang, Yoke Li and Priscilla at the table for dinner. Then we proceed to the meeting place to start our Theme Talk 1! Its quite funny that the meeting place is actually opposite our hotel so we had to walk there. Camp speaker is Uncle Bernard Hull and his wife Hazel. This year is the year of jubilee! So Uncle Bernard talked and talked regarding this topic la. Can say a little bit sien because he talked round and round the same point and elaborate more on one point. Almost dozed off cause tired. The meeting ended with a time of group prayers and then we headed back to our rooms.

Nothing much to do in our room the first night and we slept early.

So thats basically the first day of the camp.

My 50th post!

It's been a "long" journey to get this far. My 50th post! But I don't know what to write right now..Never mind, I tell you all my background when I was small that time..

Me, born on 15th October 1990, in National University Hospital of Singapore at 1528hrs.

I still remember my parents sent me to Glory Kindergarden when I am 3-6 years old. Glory Kindergarden belongs to a church which my family also been attending until we migrate to Malaysia. Its a Chinese church but since 1995/1996, It splits to both Chinese and English sessions and worship, with Chinese in the morning and English in the afternoon. I normally attend the Chinese session. The Sunday school in that church was great and the teachers were normally trained before. I still remembered that when I am Primary Two, my Sunday School teacher took us to another church for a memory verse performance alike competition and we won something, I think??

When I am 7 years old, my parents enrolled me to St.Anthony Primary School nearby my place which is opposite my house. Hmm, I remember that I had to been chosen through random-drawing system in order to get into that school. My first year in Primary 1 wasn't so bad and I was in the school band playing trumpet I think. But never mind, I lost and forgot all those skills already. I achieved my best academic results in Primary Two which would take me to the 1st class in Primary Three but my whole family had to shift back to Malaysia because of my dad's job. The teachers in the school were friendly and nice people.

To leave or not to leave?

This question has been playing in my mind for the past 3 weeks and I have decided to make it known to everyone now.

Last month, my parents went back to Singapore and guess what?They recieved a letter for me from the Ministry of Defence(Singapore). For those who do not know that I am actually born in Singapore. At the age of 18, all male Permanent Residents of Singapore must undergo a two year stint National Service. Yeah, I have to face all the facts and reality now for the first time of my life.

If I decide to leave Malaysia to serve National Service in Singapore, I would be a Singaporean in the future, no longer a Malaysian already, that means I have to give up my Malaysian citizenship and only can enter the country as a visitor for a month. There is a lot to sacrifices for the choices that we make.

According to my dad, if I passed the fitness test which really tests your physical ability and fitness, I will get to serve in the Military department consists of Air Forces(that is quite impossible because I am wearing short-sighted specs now),Navy or Armed Forces. My two year stint will be cut shorten by two months then. After I undergo the National Service, I would automatically get a place in local universities such as NUS or NTU to further my studies. Furthermore, I would not need to apply visas to certain countries like Israel and USA anymore in the future.

The worst thing is I am going to miss all things in Malaysia for the past eight years I have been here. Especially my church friends I had during these years. And my best school friends and other people. I really don't know that I can overcome this obstacle in my life. I really don't know.

God please help me to choose! Please show me the way I pray!

Perkara yang aneh..

The story starts like this..Today my Moral teacher came in my class as usual as the other days, give us some survey-like contest from Listerine to stand a chance to win a I-pod shuffle. Never mind that thing, thats not the main topic.

Then, she began to say that she marked three papers who have the same answers. Weird?

Contoh-contoh:
The question character should be Encik Abu, but three of them wrote: Encik Abu mengamalkan nilai.....................................................Encik Bakar juga mengamalkan nilai............................................
Saw that difference?They three wrote the same thing exactly and their class numbers are continuous. The teacher tend to suspect them but this is impossible to happen as the odd numbers stay in the same class and the even numbers go to another class for exam. The class numbers are 9,10 and 11.

Hmm..i also dunno why a thing that can happen..Impossible is the word I can only say.The teacher is going to see them for reasons tomorrow but not going to take any actions on them because the teacher also know that this is impossible also but dunno why la??

Woots-ta-heh! My mid-term semester exams are over!!Went to Berjaya Times Square after the last paper to celebrate kao-kao. Glad that exams are over! Quite satisfied with my performance..i think=p

Going back to Ipoh to visit my relatives and the 1st time my dad going back after his operation. He is going to work for a month in Singapore i think and then goes to Shanghai to work.

Wireless..finally!

My whole family except me(coz sick) went to PC fair in KL Convention Centre. My dad bought a 1GB SDRAM to boost the speed of the pc and a wireless modem! Cool, wireless modem finally got it..now I can surf from anywhere in my house whoo-hoo!

Updates for myself..

Been slacking alot these few weeks and I am totally not satisfied with my exams results. I only can blame myself for that. I am really tired to attend society meetings especially on Saturdays in my school..I just can't really understand why this headmaster really activities going on in school, does he understand the pressure that the students have to endure with??

Busy-ness...

Yes, I have been busy during last few days with my Oral ah, Lisan ah and my society work. Thank God that my Oral and Lisan is finally over!*woots!*

Well, for Lisan, in conclusion, I did well although I forgot some lines in the script because you know me la, easily get nervous ma=p. I answered all the questions in the soal-jawab well and finally sigh in relief. You know what are the comments that the teacher said? She said our forum script isi tak susun la. I was like wth?!! I was the one who wrote the script for 3 days/2 nights! No credit to me? Never mind then, I don't care.

As for Oral, which was held today,I don't know what am I doing. I was like forgetting all my lines in my script and I had to look and look at the script in front of the teacher. How embrassing!!Haha, one funny thing is that my partner, also forgot abit of his lines, said "something" that I don't know the teacher noticed that anot. I am trying so hard not to laugh man=p. Gosh, what a day for me!

I am quite busy with my society work now because I am the secretary of my society this year and you know secretary doesn't actually cover the work of a secretary only. I had to prepare all the stuff for the society, minutes and etc...tiring! Monday got society, Wednesday got tuition, Friday got society. I am just an ordinary person, not a SUPERMAN. So just give me a break?

Exams are coming just around the corner and I still not yet started studying yet. 12 subjects in total..sighs..Lord, grant me strength!

March holidays over now. Schooling life starts tomorrow again. There is much too complain about schooling life if you are a student but when you work that time..ahah..you'll see..

Managed to finish my homework and most importantly--my moral project.haha..took photographs of me washing the car today(pura-pura type). The weather was so so so hot!! Cannot complain because I chose to do it at the last minute.

Well, I still have eight months to go till my SPM and about 5 months to my trials. Ask me how many A's I am gonna score this time and I will say 11A1??!!Nah, impossible to achieve that feat but this year I'm in the top 2 class so is that possible? hope so..With me studying hard and God helping me, I am sure to acheive that feat.

Well, I'm seventeen this year so by the end of the year, I should be able to drive..if not next year..Thank you Caine "gor gor" for driving me here and there..=)

Whoo-hoo! March holidays are here and the good thing is that I don't have to attend extra classes in school these holidays!(next June holidays got extra SPM classes)*sobs*

Many things and assignments given by my "evil" teachers(just kidding la..now i found them very friendly and good teachers)to do during these holidays. Crazy man..so many, how to do finish la??

SPM trials seems coming near, nearer and nearest to me now..Well, I still not yet decided on whether to study Form 6 or in Sunway College so the options are still open for me. I guess I will be staying for the President post for my society??Well..all i can say time tells everything.

My dad has been discharged from the hospital last Saturday and now resting at home=)The operation and hospial fees ah can buy a Myvi car already. You can guess how expensive it is.=(Pls continue to pray for my dad and also for my mum as well..I can see her very tired because she haven't been sleeping quite well as she had to look after my dad at night as well. My dad has also been coughing since Monday and he is going to for a follow-up tomorrow. Pray that his lungs is not infected by the surgery.

Other than that, I give all glory to GOD!!

Okies, time for me to battle against my assignments now..till then! ciaos!

I really thank the Lord for helping and protection during all times. My dad's operation on Monday was successful! Praise God! He was discharged from the hospital on Saturday afternoon and is doing really well although his movement is quite restricted. He will need to rest completely for about 3 months before he can start working again. By most of all, I know how to put my trust and faith in Him.

This post is meant for her.

She is only 28 years old!!!A famous singer and actress. I don't know why but this thing comes in a sudden. She met a very serious accident on Saturday(27/1/2007)and the doctors are doing their very best to save her life.But still, God loves her more and took her back in His arms on Sunday(28/1/2007). The doctors described her brain almost like a jelly-like thingie.I felt sad for her family as well as her close friends in the entertainment circle. A talented singer and actress just gone like that.

Media reports stated that she was reading a Death Note 2 advertisement in a magazine before the accident happened.

Nonetheless, I pray that her soul will rest in peace.

War Begins?!

On 20/1/2007, a war, somewhere in Kuala Lumpur, nearby Sunway University College, at a open field has occured!

Anyways, it's not a real war but a paintball war. Last Saturday, me and a couple of church youths plus a couple of Sunway University College students went for paintball nearby Sunway. I tell you all the truth that paintball is quite really expensive but you can get 100% fun and excitement while playing. So the conclusion it is quite worth for money.

Yup, I wanna write about Rapid-KL. Maybe they are not so "rapid" at all.

Facts:

1.Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn Bhd (RAPID KL) is the company tasked with providing an integrated public transport system in the Klang Valley incorporating rail and bus services.

2. Incorporated in July 2004 and operational since November the same year, RAPID KL today transports around 3.3 million customers per week: 2.1 million on the Ampang Line and Sri Petaling Line (both formerly known as STAR line) and Kelana Jaya Line (formerly known as PUTRA line) and 1.3 million on the bus system, previously Intrakota and Cityliner. RAPID KL provides services across 49 LRT stations and 134 bus routes.

3. A 100% government-owned company under the Ministry of Finance, RAPID KL’s operating agreement is conditional upon its ability to meet a set of key performance indicators monitored independently of the company.

RAPID BUS
Today, RAPID KL operates 179 bus routes within the Klang Valley which consist of 15 City Shuttle routes, 141 Local Shuttle routes, 20 Trunk Line routes and three Express Bus routes.

Two central workshops and 11 bus depots spreading across the Klang Valley. Currently, we have 730 new buses in operation and come March 2007, we will have a total of 1,130 new buses on the road.

Bus frequency is approximately every 10 minutes for the City Shuttle and approximately every 15 minutes for the Trunk Line and Local Shuttle. The Express Bus is also available from Klang, Putrajaya and Kajang directly to Putrajaya. This service is available every 30 minutes.

On 1 st October, we have also introduced a new bus schedule for peak and off-peak hours. On a daily basis, the bus system transports over 130,000 passengers. To continuously encourage the use of public transport and to provide services to the general public, RAPID KL is also continuously studying new bus routes with the arrival of more new buses.

My Comment:

Ok..to be frank and honest..noticed why I highlighted the words up there.First of all is the "Government" word. Simple as ABC, Malaysia government can't handle things well, when the Rapid-KL service is being introduced, everyone complained about its fares.

example, You can't use a TEMPATAN ticket to board a UTAMA bus.(For me as a student)Today I board a Rapid-KL bus number 214 back to Sri Damansara. When I showed the bus driver the UTAMA ticket to him, he said " tak boleh la ni"..Then I was furious why I can't use my ticket.

TEMPATAN--RM1.00
UTAMA--RM2.00(RM1.00 for student)

Both are same. Last time I used it no problem. Argh, never mind. Okay now the time factor. All those buses won't arrive at the station on time. I remembered I waited 30 minutes for one bus. How "efficient" is that! The drivers always no manners..Mostly the drivers are Malays or Indians..I hardly see any Chinese driving a Rapid-KL bus.

Maybe Rapid-KL should change their name to Slow-KL

I just ran out of thoughts how will Malaysia will improve in the future...=(

Schooling life..

Yeap..thats my topic today.Classes started on Monday and the teachers are starting to come in to the class to teach. I do not know most of the teachers but that is ok for me but the worst is the physics teachers..He said he is the most "evil" teacher in the science stream in the school..I don't know that his words are true onot and never mind after studying this year still got 1 more year left then I can leave the school.

I assumed this year is going to be fast year for me as I am going to take my SPM this year. About seven months to my trials from now and I am starting to do my revision on Form 4 syllabus now. Time passed quickly from my eyesight as my school is a full-day school(7.30-3.10) and sometimes I have to stay back for E.C activities and meetings. So see, I don't really have much time to use to do others stuffs.

I wonder how is like when my schooling life ends next year.Maybe I take up a part time job(e.g promoter,teacher etc..)Money isn't easy to earn and you have to spend it wisely.Study opportunities?Base on my UEC, maybe Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore???who knows where I am going?All these things I leave it to God for He has a plan for me.

Many of my church youths(Esther,Sharon and Caine) are soon be leaving to continue their studies in Australia. See how time flies..I have been in this church for almost 9 years already..

Well, feel sorry for the Johor state people who are experiencing a terrible time now-floods.Most of the students can't start their new semester yet as the schools had been used as relief centres for all flood victims. So lets do our part to help these people who are in times of need and trouble and pray that the water will soon be gone.

Secondly, I might close down this blog this due to the tense pressure i am having in school..Just because of the new headmaster of the school who caused all this fuss..Even when the perhimpunan, many students boo'ed him..Just because of him, I had to suffer in 5S2..anyways,to cut the story short, my headmaster adapted a new programme for class system..My results for last year was enough to go to 5S3 but I ended up in the second class this year..Many complained and complained and the complains goes on...

Greetings from Hong Kong here! Weather here not so hot nor cold. But the weird thing is I have been sick since I reached here..having flu and cold and backaches and headaches and cough too..dunno this will reassembles to the worst disease=SARS!!!But.....by God's healing hand upon me..I have been healed! For the past three days, I couldn't eat well, sleep well, didn't have the energy and strength to walk..I just felt that I wanted to vomit at all times..Been taking pills and pills then and finally now I am quite ok..

Today is my first day "really" going out for a walk in Hong Kong to get some fresh air..Been watching Stephen Chow movies for the past three days here..Its a good thing that Stephen Chow was born in Hong Kong..hahah..thats why we get to watch his funny movies everytime..

And yeah..my deeplest condolences to James Kim's family. I watched the breaking news that his body has been found yesterday..This must be a very hard time and a bitter pill to swallow news for his wife and daughters. But I regard him as a hero, a real man, who left his car to search for any help to save himself and his family in the heavy snow. Indeed its a sad day for his family, His love for his family was the driving force for the decision he made to try to find help. What a brave and loving father! It takes a true hero to sacrifice their life to save others. May his soul rest well in the Lord's arms..

Yeap..thats my topic for today. Holidays...Here's an update...I will be not going to Down Under as the tickets for all airlines are fully taken up.But...I will be going to Shanghai instead..hahahah..
Going away for about at least 3 weeks i think..1/12 to i think 20/12 or 28/12. Yeap..will be going to the Lion City first (a.k.a Singapore) then to Hong Kong then to Shanghai.

Hehe..sorry for not updating for so long. School holidays are coming just around the corner and its been so fast for me for this particular year. Sitting for a major exam next year.

Going to Melbourne and Hong Kong for a break during this holidays, I feel that this break will help me to do better next school semester as I fared badly but not too bad:) this year.

Going to practice more and more drums to be a better drummer for the church and to serve my Lord!

Church Camp 2006

Whoa! Just came back from the church camp. Yupz, updates on the church camp. It's been a truly blessed time up there in Bukit Tinggi. Okies, let's start from Day 1.

Friday

Departed for Selesa Homes in Bukit Tinggi at about 4.30pm, reached there about 5 something. Aunty Felicia and Aunty Mei Peng went there early, collected the room keys and head straight to the apartment. The apartment was er..quite ok with all the basic stuffs inside. My family was supposed to share the apartment with Andrew Chua's family on Saturday. Ok, the first youth I met is Tze Liang and then later Sharon and Priscilla and then so on..that means me and Tze Liang are only the male youths. The camp speaker for this year was Pastor Siew Woh. He spoke about zeal and building of foundation. Yup, was truly blessed by Pastor Siew Woh's message.

Saturday

During the morning continued with the theme talks. Well the surprise thing was Uncle James came for the camp.*woots*For your information, he cut his three fingers severely by glass I think and affects the tendon which is very serious. He had his hand bandaged and casted so it seems very funny when he raised he injured hand.(Yet he still can drive there around!) In the afternoon, there was a marriage talk by Pastor Siew Woh and his wife for married people, even Tze Liang can't escape this time..haha..And singles and us have nothing to do for two hours. I went to the girl's apartment together babysit Samuel and Julia. When we had really nothing to do, we decided to play Hide and Seek(Samuel and Julia insisted, not us!). I know there was no place to hide in the apartment but we still continued.You can seriously hear the cupboards banging sound and etc. We pretended we can't find them but actually we knew where they were hiding. Julia was so clever.(refer to the picture). Later in the afternoon, sent them back to their respective parents. In the meantime, saw Tze Liang at the playground.He really looks so boring and nothing to do and complained to me why so boring ah? At night, Uncle James with his injured hand leads the worship. It's so funny that when he did the actions..argh I don't have the pictures with me. I can see that the desire and the passion for the Lord..Kudos to him!

Sunday

Woke up at 7 today to attend the youth prayer meeting at the meeting place. Later had breakfast. Oh yeah, Samuel always kacau us with his talking but I wonder how he can speak so good and better English slang than us?!(special boy!) Sunday worship led by Aunty Vicky and team and then the sermon follows..It's truly a blessing time up there in Bukit Tinggi and the sermon was excellent. May God bless Pastor Siew Woh and his family at all times..After the service, had a time of sharing and prayer time. And then the group photo-taking! And lastly, after lunch..HOMEWARD BOUND!

The End of Exams!

After a two long suffering weeks, my mid-year exams are finally over!! I've been studying over the past three weeks and I hope I won't get low marks in my tests. Let's do a quick review about the subjects:

1. Chinese-I only got 59 marks for this subject although I expected lesser than these marks..Again, my karangan failed me..

2. Higher Algebra- Definitely not my day, the questions are tough man..really have to squeeze my brain until the maximum..hope not to get very low marks..

3. Malay- I hope I can score high marks for this subject because I used "7" peribahasa in my karangan..hehe..hope that can score 75 and above.

4. Chemistry- Praise God! I done my homework and I got 85 marks! The questions are quite er..easy for me but for the others..

5. English- Argh! sad..only managed 86 marks..although I expected I can get 90 and above..

6. Trigonometry- Maybe I focus alot in this subject and thats why my English is that bad..I think that my Trigo is worse than my Higher Algebra paper..sighs though..

7. Physics- Definitely not my day again..why Physics and Sejarah on the same day?!I think this would be my third fail subject..

8. Sejarah- Never mind about the Physics..I managed to score 69 for my Sejarah..I think thats good enough for me because I am really weak at memorizing all those history facts..

9. COM 1- This looks like a change for me as the subjects became more easier for me..I hope I score sufficient marks for this..

10. Moral- Hmm..Moral seems fine for me..Nothing great to elaborate about it..

11. Add Maths- Hmm..this is much more easieeeer than the last two Maths paper..i hope I can score 90 and above for this..

12. EST- one thing came up to my mind..How to study for EST huh? Can somebody tell me?

13. Biology- Finally, the last day came, Biology, well not bad..still ok for me..Hope can pass..

Well thats all for my subjects in my mid-year exam..

Caine's surprise party

On 4/5/1986, a man called Caine was born! Caine, May God pour out His blessings unto you at all times!! Blessed Belated Birthday! Yesterday, we planned to give Caine a surprise at 1 Utama..

Suzanne blindfolded him at the Rainforest playground there, and there we are..*pop out* to sprang him a surprise! Later during the night, we went to watch the movie=MI-3(Misson Impossible 3"..The movie is quite interesting, funny..yea..worth to watch..and those who haven't watch the movie, quickly go and watch for yourselves!

Today, we went to a restaurant called Pantai Seafood Restaurant to celebrate Caine and Priscilla birthday..Priscilla birthday is on 7 of May which is tomorrow!The food was good..and hmm..the cake is an ice-cream cake..delicious!!May God bless them at all times..

Manchester United defender Wes Brown returns after a groin injury, and should make the bench if not the starting line-up.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will again have to choose between Louis Saha and Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Arsenal have included defender Sol Campbell in the squad, but the England centre-back may have to settle for a place on the bench.

MANCHESTER UNITED against Arsenal is a contest between two Premiership thoroughbreds, who are both determined to be playing Champions League football next season. These clubs have claimed 11 of the 13 Premiership titles between them (eight for United, three for Arsenal), and there has not been a Premier League campaign when at least one of them has not finished in the top two. A draw would see Arsenal breaking the 1,000 Premiership points barrier, and joining Manchester United as the only other club to achieve such a milestone.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side are in red hot form and are once again launching a dramatic last ditch bid to snatch the title from Chelsea's grasp. United are undefeated in seven League meetings with Arsenal. They've won three and drawn four since the Gunners' 0-1 triumph at Old Trafford on 8 May 2002. This season's reverse fixture was goalless. This is the 31st meeting of these clubs since Arsene Wenger has been in charge of the Gunners. Of the 30 previous encounters, Sir Alex's United have won 10, Arsenal 11 with nine drawn. Of those nine draws, United won the 2003 Community Shield on penalties, and Arsenal last season's FA Cup final on penalties.

ARSENAL are on cloud nine as they journey to Old Trafford for their 50th match of the season, in search a fifth successive Premiership victory in just over a month, having clinched a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history, The goalless draw in Turin against Juventus on Wednesday, earned the Gunners a tie in the last four against Villarreal. The first leg will be at Highbury on Wednesday, 19 April and the return on Tuesday, 25 April.

Those two Champions League fixtures will be separated by the home League clash against fourth placed Tottenham, whom Arsene Wenger's young outfit trail by one place and two points with a game in hand going into the weekend. The Gunners can qualify for Europe's premier club competition next season and deprive Spurs of entry, either by winning it this time around, or by climbing into a top four Premiership berth. They've kept clean sheets in seven of the last nine in all competitions, including the last four, but have failed to score in six of the last nine away top flight encounters.

Projects have been giving me such a headache for the past few days. Ok, I admit I do things at the last minute one but the teacher gives us the assignments only a few days and expects us to finish it by next Monday?! I am telling you I am doing a mission impossible task man..EST..Sejarah..and still need to do all those PEKA(experiments for Biology and Physics) and this week is my turn for Lisan..

Tambahan pula, I got Higher Algrebra test this Saturday..sighs..What a hectic coming week for me!!Yea, April is coming soon and all seems too fast for me..Mid year is at 26 April to 4 May..Man, I do wish there is a holiday for me..heheh(April 11 no school, heheh)..Thats all for me now..Ciaos!

Wow..all seems to go past faster than I thought..7 days passed just like that and I don't feel like it's enough for me..School reopens today but holiday for tomorrow(for me only ya!). Last week did alot of physical activities. Tuesday when to badminton, laughing like mad when playing badminton, teamed with Tze Liang(very very good player) and won a couple of games.Yeap, went for two weeks of futsal, it was fun but tiring..Fun consumes energy mar..Enjoyed it very very much..Even the girls also came to play, they were terrific in tackling the ball..haha..^_^..Saturday attended a great and meaningful youth meeting..PAU is the theme for the youth this year! Hurray!! Aunty Poh Gaik spoke about the theme and the sermon is very very very GOOD!! BUT too bad nobody recorded for Lordson!!Been some soul-searching of myself during the past couple of days.There are some changes I need to make though..*sighs*..Had oral and chemistry test today, oral was ok(i think so).Chemistry was just like hell..How to do finish the paper within 40 minutes?! And the questions are hard and need time to calculate too..arghh..thats all for me now..at least I did blog right??Ciao!

What a long week that was! Feel happy because today is Sunday but sad because tomorrow is Monday..T_T..sighs..never mind, 2 more years then can leave school already. Yupz, i have plans to become a primary OR secondary school teacher after i finished studying..hehe..yeah..i love to become a teacher, never tried that before.

Yesterday, me and a bunch of youths went to Praise Caring Home, which is our Church's home. Haha, guess what..one of the patients there know my third granduncle, she still remember that my granduncle lent his car for her wedding day. What a small world that was! SO So SO So surprised! Pray that Lord will lay His healing hands upon those who are sick and bless them whenever and wherever they are. Hope they will recover soon.

Yeah, life is short. So we must treasure and enjoy our time always. OR else, we might regret it. Yay, going to play in a futsal friendly match against my school friends team next Sunday. Hope we will win! Haha..well thats all for now!Ciao!

Ashpenaz, a high court official in ancient Babylon, was committed to banishing any testimony of Israel's God from his kingdom. His strategy focused on young leadership from the captive Hebrews. Ashpenaz gave the captives new names to honor the pagan gods of Babylon. This made sense to him, because their original Hebrew names honored their God (Daniel 1:6).
But the life choices of those captives were a far more powerful witness than any label put on them. When faced with a literal trial by fire, the young men would not bow down and worship the golden idol. Instead, they accepted the punishment of being cast into the fiery furnace—confident in God's sovereignty and care (ch.3).

Do you know unbelievers who try to pressure you to fit in with their lifestyle? If you don't party with them, follow a questionable business practice, or laugh at an offensive joke, do you get the cold shoulder? The Way to Unshakable Faith

Of all the ways that the apostle Paul has been described over the centuries, one word has stood the test of time: “confident.” Some have called him brash, others abrupt, and still others aggressive, but underlying all of these is Paul’s unfailing confidence in the Lord and in his calling. Not only was Paul bold when it came to proclaiming the gospel, he also had great confidence in God’s love and in his care.
In his Letter to the Romans, Paul drew from his own experiences as a missionary when he asked, “Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:35). To the Corinthians, he spoke more openly about his life when he explained how his reliance on God sustained him in every situation: “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). To the Thessalonians, he summed up his philosophy by giving them the same advice that he had learned to take for himself: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). It was this advice that kept his confidence strong and his spirits high.
A Challenge to Human Logic. Because these are familiar passages, they tend to lose their force. But in each of them, Paul is saying something that almost defies human logic. Should we really give thanks to God all the time—even when things are going poorly? Can we really expect that times of affliction and confusion never have to get us down? And even more to the point, do we really believe that no force in heaven or on earth can ever separate us from the love that Jesus has for us?
On one hand, we need to see that these statements of Paul’s are idealistic, written to encourage his readers to hold fast in tough times. Paul knew very well how difficult it can be to maintain a sense of hope or peace during times of trial. Even today, we can see how hard it can be to hold on to Jesus in the midst of tragedies like the death of a loved one, a divorce, or even a natural disaster like an earthquake or a flood. God knows how much pain these things bring. He doesn’t expect us to pretend that they don’t hurt us or cause us fear, sadness, or anxiety.
On the other hand, we should be careful not to dismiss Paul’s confidence as being too idealistic. No matter how hard our lives become, God is still our loving Father. He is always with us, ready to give us his comfort and his strength. He is always inviting us to trust him just a little bit more, to take just one more step of faith, so that our confidence will grow as strong as Paul’s and our convictions will come closer and closer to the ideals that Paul described in his letters.
Faith through Prayer. Paul’s statements may appear too idealistic. They may be too hard to practice in our own lives. But that doesn’t mean we can’t keep growing and experiencing more and more of the confidence that Paul exhibited. In the final analysis, it is the kind of unshakable, irrational faith that both St. Paul and the prophet Joel had that will help us know God’s comfort and encouragement—even when it seems that we have lost everything.
The question is, how do we get to this faith? How can we overcome the sense that we are alone in the world, or the fear that God will not take care of us in our time of need? Surely it doesn’t come just from wishful thinking or from trying hard to believe in something that doesn’t make sense to us!
The truth is that this kind of faith comes only as we come in touch with Jesus in prayer and let him convince us that he has us in the palm of his hand. Let’s look at how this can happen for us.
A Melted Heart. One day, a man entered the Temple in Jerusalem with a heavy heart. He was frustrated at his own misfortune and envious of those who had become wealthy through dishonesty and cheating. He had been puzzling over the question of why God allowed the wicked to prosper while the upright, people like himself, encountered nothing but suffering and difficulty. It all seemed so unjust, and he had begun to think that he had been wasting his time trying to stay faithful to the commands of God. “All in vain I have kept my heart clean,” he thought, “for all day long I have been plagued, and am punished every morning” (Psalm 73:13,14).
“When I thought how to understand this,” he later wrote, “it seemed to me a wearisome task, until I went into the sanctuary of God” (Psalm 73:16-17). And that’s when everything changed. In God’s presence, something happened that melted this man’s heart and calmed his anxieties. Left to the devices of his own mind, he found himself in a pit of confusion, self-pity, and worry. But once he set aside his thoughts and lifted his mind up to God in prayer, the knots both in his thinking and in his stomach began to untie.
As he prayed, the question of why the wicked prospered while he did not became secondary to the privilege he had of being with Yahweh and knowing him intimately. Standing in the Temple, enfolded by the presence of the Lord, he confessed: “I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. . . Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you” (Psalm 73:23,25).
The Beauty of Prayer. What happened to this man? To put it simply, God melted his heart. This man put aside his own limited human reasoning for a short time and let God give him a broader and deeper perspective on his life—a perspective that brought him great comfort and released him from his anxiety. Nothing changed in his outer circumstances, but it didn’t seem to matter. The man himself changed, and that was all that mattered. He realized that God had not forgotten him, and finally at peace, he prayed, “For me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, to tell of all your works” (Psalm 73:28).
This is the beauty of prayer. No matter who we are, and no matter what we have done, we can go before the Lord at any time and let his love and his compassion wash over us. We can bring our deepest hurts, fears, and anxieties to him and know that he will answer us with his peace and consolation. We can bring our sins to him and know that he will forgive us and draw us closer to himself. We can bring our needs to him and know that he will give us the wisdom, guidance, and strength we need to move forward in hope.
Three Steps to Freedom. No one wants to go through a personal tragedy or a natural disaster. We all know how painful it can be, and we probably wonder how we will stand up to the test. But it is not for us to determine the full course of our lives. So much is out of our control. At the same time, there are steps we can take—whether we have been praying for years or whether we are just beginning to spend time with the Lord.
The first step is to turn to Jesus and tell him that you need his help and his peace. Don’t be afraid to confess your neediness to him. God loves it when we come to him with honest, trusting hearts.
The second step is to believe that no matter how difficult things look, they will get better. Trust that God is with you, even if you can’t see him or feel him right now. Believe that he knows your suffering and that he has a plan to bring good out of even the worst situation. Do your best to imitate the unshakable, irrational faith of Paul, Peter, and all the other saints.
And the final step is to move forward. God does not want us to become paralyzed by our problems. Even if it is a very small step, take it. Then watch and see how God builds up your confidence and helps you take the next step. The Bible is filled with stories of heroes and heroines who faced some kind of defeat but moved on and ultimately were victorious. Think, for instance, of Peter in prison (Acts 12:1-17), or of Esther in Persia (Esther 2, 8), or of Judas Maccabeus and his companions (1 and 2 Maccabees). All these people encountered great troubles but did not let themselves become overwhelmed. You can, too.
All Things Work for Good. We may never know why certain tragedies come to us. And we may not always deal with them in the most pleasing of ways. But as Job and the fellow in Psalm 73 both learned, God will never abandon us. No matter what we are feeling during these times of trial, God will help us. And in the end, when we have gone to be with Jesus, we will look back upon our lives and finally understand how all things really have worked together for good for those who love God (Romans 8:28).

Yupz..this is my 2nd post.Nothing really happened much in school except for my maths teacher absent for 2 days right after Chinese New Year.Yeah, praise God because I haven't finished my maths homework at that time..hehe..Yeah, another youth joined us for the youth meeting yesterday, his name is Eric, a American-Europe-Asian mix teen, haha 3 in 1.Hope he joins us regularly in the future.Great to see new youths come in and that means I am older and older each year.Yeah, going to have exams soon after this week so will be busy studying.I hope I can get through this year without problems and hope that can excel in my results.Yupz, thats for all now..Till then..^_^
